Okay, so I didn’t end up seeing Wanted, so that’s why I didn’t review it. I suppose I could have reviewed Get Smart instead, which I saw a few weeks ago. But it didn’t really lend itself to a full review — it’s a C/C- movie, not funny enough for a comedy, not exciting enough as an action movie, but not entirely awful. Steve Carrell is okay, Anne Hathaway is mousy, The Rock can actually act decently and the plot was entirely too predictable. It’s a total mindless diversion and nothing more.
And instead of regaling everyone with why Superman Returns is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen (don’t worry, I will write about it soon enough), I decided to go with something slightly more timely (also, I watched it tonight on TV) and review the original Hellboy on the day the sequel comes out. I will be doing the same next Friday with a review of Batman Begins on the the day The Dark Knight (sweet) comes out.
Again, I respectfully disagree. 🙂
Call me shallow, but I enjoyed “Get Smart” (and you can read why at http://www.HeidiTown.com)
I am a huge fan of Steve Carrell and thought he was brilliant as Max Smart. I never watched the original show – many people who did enjoy the television show didn’t enjoy the movie – which is sort of interesting.

Superman Returns is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, too! OMG! Actually, I’m pretty sure all the Superman movies are down there.
