It does seem a little skewed toward Wiebe, but still, Billy Mitchell is a huge douchebag. Perhaps the biggest of all time. I was quite happy at the end when Wiebe got the top score on tape. First responder would probably be better off in a Steven Segal movie.. I happened to like the film, more for the weird creepy undertones and all the strange minions. A compelling film can be made around any subject as long as the characters are strong (they were in this film ) and the conflict is interesting enough.. and in this film it was for me. I do do have to say that it was a little contrived but, still good. I will say that unless you are an avid gamer this movie will not hold a real interest for you. Kind of like a baseball documentary would probably put me in a coma. I feel the reason this movie did as well as it did is that for many of us in the 30-45yr old demographic these games were a large part of our up bringing. I remember making sure my choreswere done so on the weekend my parents would give me quarters to play games like Donkey Kong. We were there when these games came out and have witnessed their evolution and growth over the years. So in many ways we feel like we've grown up with them. Just my two cents. I saw this movie in the theator and it was so boring. You must have reviewed this movie without WATCHING IT. Yes it has an interesting subject...but after the movie is over I realized its just too long and its really tough to make playing a video game into a "viewing sport".
